Black History Month Lecture - February 25, 2016

April Ryan, White House Correspondent for American Urban Radio Network and author of the book, The Presidency in Black and White: My Up-Close View of Three Presidents, will be visiting campus on Thursday, February 25, as a guest lecturer for the Poynter Fellowship in Journalism. A 30-year journalism veteran, Ms. Ryan has been recognized with many prestigious honors throughout her career, and was most recently nominated for a 2016 NAACP Image Award for her “Outstanding Literary Work” as a debut author. 

The lecture, which is being co-sponsored by the Office of the Provost in celebration of Black History Month, will be at 2 p.m. at the Yale School of Management, Evans Hall, 165 Whitney Avenue, in the Lei Zhang Auditorium, and will be followed by a Q&A session. Her book will be available for purchase and signing.
