Connecticut Provosts Symposium
Dual-career Issues in Faculty Hiring:
Regional Collaboration
December 11, 2015 at Yale University
Yale University invites Provosts and Deans of Faculty in Connecticut to discuss dual-career issues in faculty hiring and brainstorm about how we might:
- collaborate;
- use our collective resources to better address the challenges of recruiting and retaining faculty in dual-career relationships; and
- better address the especially difficult challenge of recruited faculty who have academic spouses/partners seeking faculty appointments.
Through this conversation we hope to explore models for regional networking, learn about best practices, and find solutions to our common challenges.
