Shannon joined the Office of the Provost in February 2020. In her role as senior executive assistant, she reports directly to Vice Provost for Global Stratey, Steven Wilkinson, Vice Provost for Arts and Faculty Affairs, Emily Bakemeier and Vice Provost for Academic Resources, Lloyd Suttle. Shannon began her career at Yale in 2011 with the School of Nursing and most recently in the Office of the Secretary and Vice President for University Life. Her previous experience spans over 20 years assisting high level executives in both the private and corporate arenas.
