Madeleine Simon serves as Assistant Director of Communications, where she develops and supports strategic communications on behalf of the provost and colleagues across the Office of the Provost.
In her role, Madeleine advances writing and editorial strategy for university-wide messaging, executive communications, and initiatives regarding Yale’s academic and research priorities. Madeleine works closely with colleagues across Yale’s schools and units to develop and serve as a resource for communications for faculty, students, staff, and other university audiences.
Madeleine joined the Office of the Provost in 2025. She brings eight years of experience in journalism and editorial leadership. Madeleine holds a BA in journalism from American University.
