Materials Characterization Faculty Advisory Committee

This committee will have combined oversight for the West Campus Materials Characterization Core, the Aberration-Corrected Electron Microscopy core, and the materials characterization component of YINQE and will serve an important role in the Materials Characterization Cores’ governance, coordination and guiding its technical direction. Members will advise the Materials Characterization Committee Chair, Charles Ahn, regarding scientific vision of the Cores; advise on instrumentation acquisition and accessioning; and provide feedback on core administration, technical support, performance, and structure.
