Chad Losee serves as the senior associate provost for strategy and data analysis at Yale University. In this role, he advises the president, provost, deans, and other university leaders and oversees the work of three teams: the Office of Strategic Analysis, the Office of Institutional Research, and the University Data Office. He led the creation of the University Data Office and recruited Yale’s first chief data officer in 2025 to advance data as a strategic asset for the university.

Before joining Yale in 2023, Losee led MBA admissions and financial aid at Harvard Business School (2016–2022), overseeing the annual evaluation of nearly 10,000 applicants, enrolling 900 incoming students, and distributing $40 million in financial aid. He collaborated with faculty to launch new joint degree programs and spearheaded scholarship and outreach initiatives to expand access and affordability globally. Prior to this role, he was part of the founding team at HBS Online, which has awarded certificates to over 200,000 learners since its launch in 2014.

Losee began his career as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company, advising corporate and higher education clients over five years in Dallas, Texas and Stockholm, Sweden. He holds a BA summa cum laude from Brigham Young University, an MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School, and a doctorate in education with distinction from the University of Pennsylvania.
