Please save the date for Envisioning AI at Yale, a campus-wide interdisciplinary symposium, on May 9, 2025, in Kline Tower.
The symposium, organized by the Office of the Provost, will showcase the impressive range of ways Yale community members are engaging with artificial intelligence. This discipline-spanning event responds to the vision of the Yale Task Force on AI by bringing together students, faculty, and staff whose work interacts or intersects with AI technologies.
Sessions will be grouped by interdisciplinary themes to spark conversation, share ideas, and develop new insights on AI and research, scholarship, art, education, ethics, policymaking, and more. The day-long program will include lightning talks, poster sessions, panels, and performances.
We hope to engage all members of the community working in this fast-paced area. A call for proposals will soon be posted at ai.yale.edu/symposium-2025, where you can also sign up to receive email updates.
Please share this message with your units, colleagues, and students. In the coming weeks, we will work to establish broad awareness of this event and encourage participation.
Sincerely,
Scott Strobel
Provost
