Wanda Diaz joined the Provost Office in March 2021 as Senior Director of Finance and Administration. Prior to this, she was the Assistant Provost for Administration, Finance and Facilities for the Office of the Provost at Montclair State University. She holds an MPA with a concentration in Advanced Management and Finance from Columbia University, an MA in Organizational Psychology with a concentration in Change and Consultation from Teachers College and a BS in Accounting from the City University of New York. In joining Yale, she brings 28 years of experience in budgeting, capital planning, change management, facilities, finance, grants management, human resources, technology upgrades and general administration. She has collaborated on major financial, fundraising, construction, personnel and technology initiatives within cultural, higher education, research, and social service environments. She was previously a Yale employee and has worked with other institutions such as The New York Botanical Garden, Teachers College, Columbia University, Barnard College and The Children’s Aid Society, one of New York City’s largest and oldest non-profit agencies.
