Tim joined Yale in 2015. He oversees the Swensen Fellows program as well as the Office of Institutional Research. Prior to joining Yale, Tim spent most of his career in strategy consulting, most recently as a Principal in Bain & Company’s San Francisco office. He began his career as an analyst at J.P. Morgan in New York and then dabbled with academia in philosophy grad school – a most likely combination! He is grateful for the opportunity to utilize these experiences in the service of Yale, and enjoys mentoring the Fellows in the program. Outside of work, Tim relishes spending time with his wife, Lauren, and two young children. They love hiking and travel, and his kids have encouraged him to dust off his guitar as part of the family band “Treebark.” Tim earned his A.B. in Physics from Princeton.
