Sanelma joined the Office of Strategic Analysis as a Swensen Fellow in 2020, shortly after graduating from Yale College with a BA in Mathematics and a certificate in German Language. She spent a large portion of 2019 in Berlin, Germany, where she took classes at the Free University of Berlin and interned in business operations and analytics for the ride-sharing startup ViaVan. At Yale, Sanelma worked for the Mathematics Department as a peer tutor and developed and produced the online modules for the Calculus sequence. Sanelma also served as president of Yale’s triathlon team and raced at collegiate nationals. In her free time, Sanelma enjoys board games and exploring Connecticut and the world on her bike.
