Sooyong joined the Office of Strategic Analysis as a summer intern in 2020. He is a rising senior at Yale pursuing a B.A. in Ethics, Politics and Economics. Sooyong spent the first half of his life in Seoul, South Korea and the latter half in Fort Lee, New Jersey. He is interested in education and food systems as a medium for creating positive structural change. Previous to joining the Office of Strategic Analysis, Sooyong led an educational non-profit organization in Bergen County, New Jersey. On campus, he was the recruitment team co-lead for Students for Carbon Dividends and works as a Dining Associate in the Berkeley Dining Hall. In his free time, Sooyong enjoys playing basketball and Catan with his friends.
