Information for New and Non-Tenured Faculty Members

Professional Resources and Community Connections

The Office of Faculty Development supports faculty members in their research, teaching, and service to the University.  Special attention is paid to the needs of non-tenured faculty, for whom professional development and engagement in the community are key factors in early-stage career success.

This site serves as an information gateway to the programs and offices at Yale that provide opportunities for professional development and enrichment, as well as community resources and networks of support.  It also includes detailed information on paid leave procedures and other funding sources for non-tenured faculty members; guidance on teaching and service; and suggestions for networking and academic leadership.  Follow the links below to learn more.
